Welcome to Tabernacle Baptist Church of Shoreline, Washington, affectionately known as Tab.  My name is Tom Ruhlman and I have been the senior pastor at Tab since 1980.  My wife Becky and I, along with our eight children, have served with joy in the ministry together.  We are privileged to serve in a church with such a heritage.  It began in 1896 and has been a place of worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism ever since!  We have moved a few times!  The church started in downtown Seattle, moved to Capital Hill, then the Maple Leaf district, and then to Shoreline.

Going to church should be enjoyable!  But it is not always that way.  Many places are cold, formal and unfriendly.  We at "Tab" desire to be a church that you will want to come back to.

We want to be a church that is relevant to the needs of today.  We want to preach, teach, sing, worship, fellowship, and praise the Lord so that all true believers in Jesus Christ will feel at home.  Our goal is that you will be edified and encouraged as a person.
