What to Expect
We are excited about you becoming our guest at Tabernacle Baptist Church (Tab for short).
You will notice that we are a friendly group of people. We are unique; all ages, different vocations, some of us live in Shoreline near the church, others live in Seattle, Bothell, Ballard, Everett and West Seattle.
We have come together to glorify the Lord with our worship, fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ, and to serve and minister to each other. Then as we leave the building we strive to continue our service and outreach as we share the gospel.
Arrival
You will notice we have a large parking lot. You may park in the upper or lower lot. If you park in the upper lot, come in through the ramp door. You will be greeted and handed a bulletin. The auditorium is on this level. If you park in the lower lot, come in through the blue double doors. You will be entering our fellowship hall. This is where we have coffee and doughnuts and typically hold our adult classes. For the worship service come up either stairwell. Our auditorium is on the second floor.
Nursery
Families with nursery age children will like our church nursery. It is located on the third floor, staffed by friendly, caring, screened, loving workers. Our nursery is equipped with age appropriate toys and equipment. You will be able to attend and enjoy the service while your little one has fun in a safe environment. Our nursery is for infants through 3 years of age. Nursery is available for Bible Study classes as well as the morning worship service.
Worship
Our worship service has blended music. You will enjoy hymns from the past as well as contemporary music. Tab is a singing church. Music is a vital part of our service. Pastor Tom Ruhlman preaches relevant expository messages true to the Word of God.
Dress
We want you to feel comfortable when you attend the service. There is no dress code. You will notice a variety of personal choice from suits with ties, and dresses to jeans and T-shirts
Offering
Each Sunday there is a time to worship God through the offering. As a guest, please do not feel any obligation to participate.
